Default please help me identify some brake pads

k so this is a longshot but im tryin to figure what pads are on the front of my newly acquired z. the guy said he thinks they are duralast golds but they definitely dont look like it. i dont have a pic yet but it has "SEI 592" stamped in the middle then "G64C3" underneath it. if anyone has seen this on their pads or just have a guess it would be greatly appreciated!!

If the previous owner "thinks" they are duralast golds, then odds are they are just some local autozone generic pads...........no point in trying to figure it out....you can replace them and know what you have, or if they are good, and you don't have an issue with it, roll with them.....

its your car do what you like, but purchasing a used car, I like to start fresh and I change everything out.......

Fluids:
Engine, differential, Tranny, Power Steering, coolant, brakes, clutch (M/T), etc...etc..

Brakes:
New pads, measure rotor thickness and verify with minimum spec thickness....inspect lines, calipers for leaks, etc...

Bushings and ball Joints:
I put my eyes on all bushings and ball joints:
shock bushings, tranny mount, engine mounts, etc...i inspect them all.....
How many miles on your Z? check for this one:

I all the work myself, so it doesn't cost much, and you can at the very least inspect it all.........and go to a shop for one at a time as you need it..

the reason im asking is i need to change the rear pads. but before i do so i wanted to know was on the front, so i have something to compare it to ya know.

thanks for the link about the bushings, thats one area i havent had time to inspect yet. i try to do a fair amount of work myself but im not so sure about pressing in bushings and what not. i put energy poly bushings on my last car but i had a shop do it.

I would just suggest changing the fronts too then at the same time....

BUT!!........if he thinks they are autozone duralast, just go to autozone and have them physically pull the front pads of every type they sell.......open the boxes and look for those numbers you mention.....then from there, purchase the corresponding rear pads.....

Depending on miles, abuse and age, you may also wanna read this thread..
rear diff bushing is a known issue:
