Hey everyone. I've been looking into replacing suspensions bushings with monoballs, but I was a little bit shocked at the prices of these kits. So I decided to design them myself and get the parts quoted.
The first ones I had manufactured were the front shock bushings. I've had them in the car for about a week now, and the increased feel is really nice. I had 4 sets total made, so I have 3 left that I'd like to sell if anyone is in the market for some monoball bushings. The clamshell is 6061, and the spacers are 304 stainless.
I got a Teflon lined COM12 from McMaster. It just so happened to be a QA1 brand spherical. I'd say either FK or QA1 are ideal.
For one car kit without a spherical, I'd say $75. You'd just have to source spherical bearings and press everything together yourself, which isn't a big deal.
