Default 19" Rims with S-Tech Springs

Just had a quick question..

soon as I installed the new rims/tires, I got them aligned and everything is perfect now. I'm installing springs, hopefully by this week, and was curious to know if I need another alignment? Are the chances higher or lower that the drop could change any of the specs?

I would get an alignment if I didn't already get one done.. so I'm just curious if it makes any difference. Thanks!

Is your ride height going to be drastically lower/higher than stock? If so, you'll need another alignment.

It's going to be lower by 0.7 inches. I did the same thing and have already scheduled an alignment. I'll let you know what they say when I bring it in (if you can wait that long) but I'm pretty sure we'll need one.

Why did you need to do an alignment when you put on aftermarked wheels? I'm curious because I'm about to replace my stock wheels with larger rims and wider tires too. If stock alignment is fine, shouldn't they be left alone?

Once you drop the car though, the alignment is affected, and I can understand why an adjustment is necessary.

Ricky, did you get it aligned because your alignment was already messed up, or was it a required procedure when going with wider tires/different offset?

If the only thing you change is wheels & tires and the tires have the same overall diameter as stock, u don't need an alignment.

I'm assuming he got an alignment done before installing the springs. Dealer did that for me on warranty as I had a slight pull to the right. Damn, should have installed the springs before having this warranty work done

It was a funny turn of events.

First, I hit an ice patch and hit the rear wheel. So I needed an alignment.

Then I decided on new rims, and slapped them on, and got the alignment.

Now there is a gap which I didn't think would look so big, so I'm lowering it..

Now I'm debating on another alignment. What I'm going to try to do is get the springs on and bring it back saying it still pulls so I don't pay another damn $100. 2 Alignments in 2 weeks is pointless.
