A while back I posted on here asking folks what they thought would be a good low dust pad. It seems people leaned towards the Green pads.
I put them on a week ago and so far I am not pleased. The first few days they blew 2-3x more dust which worried me. I think it was just flinging off what was left on the rotor though because it has tamed down.
Dust now is just about the SAME as it was before I changed them out. If that isnt bad enough...... they SQUEEL LIKE HELL at every stop light I roll up to. I feel like I am driving a complete POS when they are squeeling.
Is this normal? Will it stop?

Ha! I did the SAME thing on my ML500 and it drove me freaking INSANE! The grip was great but the brake squeal was unbearable. Everyone was craning their head around each time I barely tapped the brake pedal. POS noisy pads.
They may not be fully bedded. I tried green stuffs on my last car and they didn't squeal at all once bedded. They were however the dustiest pad I've ever used while performance wasn't anything special and because of that I'll never try them again.
The Bobcat is a very low dust and great pad for Autocross and street so far. I have not used them on the ocasional track day yet, so there might be a limit to the useage.
I will know in a month track day comming.

Do I get them a pillow, turn down the lights and sing softly to them?

I didn't do anything special other than to get up to about 60 mph and then brake pretty hard down to about 5-10 mph. I did that about half a dozen times. No squeaking and no dust.

What the hell. Mine are getting louder and louder and louder and with a very high pitched note when stopping.
Finding a good spot to do 8 runs from 60-10 over and over is not possible in this town. I got 6 stops in and nearly freaked out the people driving the other way. Then I figured the noise was gone.....nope still there.
