Default important question about judging brembo brakes

is there a way to tell visually if they are in working condition? Hope brake experts can chime in
Thanks in advance!

Well, if they are not installed you can only visually look at the caliper for obvious damage but that will mostly just be cosmetic, the only other thing to look at would be the rubber boots on the pistons to see if they are in good condition or cracked, but those are cheap and easy to replace.

Basically they should work without a problem, if you are not sure just buy a seal kit, they are cheap (25 bucks) which replaces the inner piston seal and outer boot, then all you need is an air source to push out the piston.

thanks for the advise, westpak.
Another dumb question, how can i tell if the brembos are from a 350Z and not from Subaru WRX Sti? I looked at photos and both look bloody identical
