Default Cusco's LSD

? One way L.S.D. specially suited for front wheel drive cars and 4WD car front axles.
Activates under acceleration, and acts as a true LSD when the throttle is off. A great chance for improved lap times.
A CUSCO original design.
? 1.5 way LSD
Activates under acceleration while the understeer is less than on the 2 way LSD.Recommended for drivers having difficulty with 2 way LSD understeer and one way LSD braking.
? Two way LSD
Recommended on the rear axle for rear drive cars. Activates on both acceleration and deceleration. Recommended for those who
prefer hot driving action and big angle drift.

Why with 1.5 way be better than 2way for understeer?

1way LSD braking? How can this be if 1 way does not even activate with braking?

I know that the Nismo LSD is 1.5way upgradable to 2way, but are their any advantages going 2 way if my above question regarding understeer/braking is true?

1.5 way sounds like a happy medium.

Please advise.

Thanks.

read our descripton - its more leyman's terms than the translated Japanese

All Cusco 1.5 ways are interally adjustable to a 2 way if you want.

So is it better to get type MZ or RS and why?

It seems like the MZ would be better for "better LSD" response. However, if the MZ has better response with more torque, how can their be less friction? (Less friction, less transfer of power, less torque)

Also, the RS is so much more expensive. Is this just because of the springs? Is it more beneficial to have torque come on gently or strongly? I thought latter for more power. But then again if it's too abrupt it may be intrusive and not as stable.

Also, do you know if the Nismo LSD has springs like the RS?

Thanks.
