Default abs and big brake kits

hey ppl, i dont know too much about abs brakes but i was wondering...soon i'll be doing a project of installing a Z32 4 pot caliper onto my Z33. in regards with ABS, is there only one inlet (brake line) into our stock calipers? not 2, 1 for master cylinder and another for ABS module? plz advise ppl. so if there is just one inlet, will i still have to worry about the ABS working properly? or any other such as upgrading the master cylinder or anything else related to that? thx

I would need to know all of the specs of each system to give a definitive answer...but in short, I wouldn't do it. I just looked in my parts catalog. Everything is different between the 300zx and 350z...calipers, rotors, lines, master cylinder...everything...not to mention the abs control system used. I'd steer clear. What most of our customers find is that by the time they piece everything together, make brackets, and try to get everything to work, it's easier, cheaper, and works better just to install an aftermarket kit that has already been engineered. I'm sure you would be able to get it all bolted up and functioning, but my bet is that it will be far from optimized. Your stopping distances would most likely be longer, and all bets are off with abs.

Why are you looking to do this anyway? What are you using the car for, and in your opinions, what benefits will this give you?
