Default Anyone have kinetix a arms?

I'm looking for some affordable adjustable a arms and kinetix is the only one at around $400. One thing concerns me is that it looks kind of sketchy.

I bought some and they are of great quality. I decided to sell them though since I changed from Eibachs to S-Tune and my alignment went back into spec. I looked at them and they are really nice. You'll like them if you get them. See the little space in the second to last line in my sig? That's where it would have said Kinetix A-Arms.

Default A arm

So far so good. I had no problems installing them. I did have a little trouble figuring out which way they are installed but in the end I managed to match them up correctly with the oem arms. I also had to cut out the red boot to allow it to sit better over the ball joint. Other than that, I am satisfied.

I'm also planning to purchase Kinetix A-arims and rear rods sets this summer when I get my rims.
I have a question tho.
Is A-arm and rear rods needed if I lower the car more than 1.5 inches than stock? I'm pretty sure that I'll need to roll my fenders if I drop the car more than 1 inch or so since I'll be getting 10.5 wide rims at rear. At the same time, I also might need a rear camber rod set and front A-arm if I lower the car more than an inch (which I'll be probably do so)
Right now I have KW Variant 3 coilovers and set it at its highest setting (maybe about an inch lower than stock) will get a 19" Volk LE37T's, and when I put my new rims on, I will lower the car even more. I tried to lower the car a little more after I installed the KW coilover but then rear camber was just plain crazy so I decided to put it back to highest setting until I get the rods and A-arms.

Also, do they come with any install instructions? How hard and long does it take to install?
AFAIK, Kinetix A-arms are not adjustable after they are installed. They have to be pre-adjusted before being installed. Does this mean that it has a certain setting that it can show that alignment can get back into stock? (So I can set it at cerain camber angle before I install it, and then after installed, I can go straight to get the car aligned).
It might sounds like a dumb question but enlighten the newbie please

Thanx in advance.

This past weekend I worked on my car installing the tein suspension, the front a-arms, the rear rods(camber and toe), and cusco sway bars. Also I made sure to put the edfc motors on the rear struts before installing them. It took me 8 hours on Sat, and 6 hours on Sunday. Keep in mind that i spent 1.5 hours trying to get the alignment close enough so that I could drive it to get the alignment done professionally. The A-arms and rods have no instructions. Just remember how you took the oem parts out and put in the kinetix stuff back in the same way. Also the kinetix a-arms have an angle to them where the ball joint is mounted. Look carefully at the oem a-arms so that you can match that angle and not put it in upside down. Where the rods connect in the rear, you will have to jostle the straight(black) rods into place, its a *****. You will also want to make sure that you match the curve for the red rods, also the bolt that connects them to the frame(not the wheel housing) is slotted so that it faces a certain direction. Back to the a-arms, they are adjustable, but you have to disconnect them to adjust them(not take them out of the car!), its not that big of a deal, besides, when you get your alignment done, then you wont have to worry about it. You see the height of my car, I dont' have any issues.

I see.
Thanx a lot!
Hmm.. so installing A-arms and Camber rods are pretty much DIY-able with some precautions...
Gotta try that in summer..
So how much did you drop your car ZxRage? I remember that you got 10.5 in the rear and did not roll your fender yet, but you don't have any rubbing issues. I wonder how much you dropped your car. I saw your car at the other thread with Gold LE37T That's the rims I'm waiting for right now. Can't wait...

Default ??

I don't know, I didn't measure the tire gap before I installed the tein suspension. All I did was just measure it afterwards. I bet it isn't that much considering that the tein is fully adjustable. After this sunday when I go to englishtown raceway park, maybe I can measure someone's stock Z and see what the difference is. Good luck with everything you do on your car.

I'm not really panning mods where I'll need front camber correction, but I do like the idea of those poly bushings.
ZxRage, thank you off posting that pic.

You can find them at kinetix racing website. Go to View sponsors menu on the top, and then find their website. You'll see it.
