Default B&G spring installed.

So this weekend me and a buddy installed the B&G springs on my 350 and his 3.5 Alti and also installed some Maxspeed springs and KYB GR2s on his Maxima. Two long days of fighting with suspension piece has me beat so pics are coming. Some questions though. (1) Has anyone else had their B&Gs settle since they put them on. On my last car the springs never got lower than the day I put them on but my friend swears our cars have gotten lower over the last two days. (2) Are the stock struts going to be up to the task of having these springs. (3) How long do you think I should wait before I go get it aligned? Thanks in advance for your help.

I installed my b&g springs also over the weekend...I must say I feel beat up after the install And yes it does seem like its gotten lower since the install. I'm going to wait a week then get it aligned.

thats what I was thinking. How'd they fit with your 19s. I have the stock 17s and its pretty much tucking. Seems like 19s you might need to roll the fenders.

Rear is pretty much on top of the tire. Front tucks under a little but no rubbing at all. tires are 275/30-19 rear 245/35-19 front

Damn thats cutting it close. Do you rub in the back on bumps? I'm thinking of going with factory 18s personally.

No.. I havent rubbed at all ... Prob. because the offset on the rims front is 30mm rear is 40mm.. i want to push the rear wheel out a little and I should have enough room to get spacers for the rear. 18 or 19 should work fine.. if you get 18" you shouldnt have any prob...

Thats what I thought. I like the look of the performance factory rims. Think I'm going to roll those. Got any you want to sell?

Man I hope not...but i noticed that too. My rims are twisted pretty far in , I'm surprised at how it rides so smooth now. You can really feel the difference.

Yeah its definitely a HUGE imporvement over stock. I'm going to take my car to Nissan this weekend and find out for sure if the alignment will work. As for your test pipes, I'd do the enitre exhaust in one fell swoop.

WoW

Those rims look wicked on your black Z.

Please keep us informed on what you had to do to get the car aligned to specs. I am considering B&G springs but dont know if i need camber and/or toe kits for the rear and/or front.

damn dude your car looks WICKED. I'm almost embarrased now to post pics of mine on here. I'll take before and after pics on Friday of the alignment. Just see you can so how much difference it made. Just got a coupon today from Mossy for $69 for a 4 wheel so I'm going to use that. Also need to check and see when my sways are coming in.

From what Joust was saying B&Gs plus Hotchkis sways and he said it was like he was on rails. Warning though Hotchkis sways are on backorder like a ****. Ordered mine like a week and a half ago and I'm supposedly not going to get them for another week. It'll be worth it though.
