Unhappy Big Brake Kit installed, have thumping noise in rear now...

Well, I had my Rotora Big Brake Kit installed and now I'm getting a thumping noise in the rear when I'm coming to a stop. The tech that installed checked the rears and everything checked out fine. Went directly to Rotora and thought it might be the brakeline rubbing, but further investigation found nothing wrong. They did however, point out the noise appeared to be coming from the rear differential. They said this was the first time anything like this ever happened, and they've never experienced this kind of noise before. Thay also pointed out that the extra weight of the big rotors may be causing it to amplify when braking, but that it shouldn't do that. Well, my car's at the dealer now, and I explained what I was experiencing and what Rotora said as well. Keep my fingers crossed it isn't anything too serious. Anyone else ever had this problem? because this is the first I've ever heard of it.

Well not sure what rotors you have but when I first put on my slotted/drilled rotors I had similar sound when breaking, it went away after a few days, I think it was the edge of the pad hitting the slots until it wore the edge smooth.
