Rebuilding calipers
I've got to rebuild all 4 brake calipers to replace crumbling dust boots. I've got the service manual. Has anyone one done this yet and if so are there any suggestions to make the job easier.
first of all... why are you rebuilding them? why not take it to the dealer and have them address it as a warranty issue?? the boots should not be crumbling unless you have a million miles on the car...
second... rebuilding them is a pain... are them Brembos? or the regular single piston floating? if you've never done brakes before, I'd suggest paying a shop to do it... if you make a mistake, it could be very costly later...
