Default what finish?

Is this a special order finish color? or is it the standard greyish silver?

No, this is the standard Flat Silver LE-37T color. It is darker than the TE-37 Flat Silver which is also very nice....the LE-37T is alot lighter in color than gunmetal. I hope I wasn't to confusing.
