Problems with my new springs
I just bought a set of Tanabe springs from Intense Motorspots.
Everything was put in in the correct order with no problems.
I noticed the tightly coilled section on the spring and the instructions did not say which way the springs were suppose to go on. So what I did was put the tightly coilled section on the top
with the writting right side up. put everything on and tighten it all up and put the car back on the ground and everything looked good. I took it out for a test drive and there was all kinds of clunking noise like if something was loose. we brought it back up and checked all the nuts and bolts. and everything was tight. the next day I happend to just look at the springs while the weight of the car is on them. I happend to notice the the tightly coilled section of the springs were totaly compressed, the top 3 or 4 were coils were all touching. To me that does not seem right. I figured that is were I'm getting my cluncking. Did anyone else have this problem? If you did please let me know so I can straighten this problem. I hope I don't have to send those springs back because the car looks totaly kick ***.
Thanks Jose

I will talk to the tech that has installed these for us before....
These are the most lowering springs for the Z...
I love the ride quality with them too!
