Default Shredding wheel well liner with lowering springs

Anybody have similar issues?

I know some might be thinking no $hit the liner will be compromised with lowering springs. However, in this case it's Hotchkis springs with a *very* mild 1/2" drop - offset with 30 lbs increase in stiffness. Further adding to the surprise is that I have the front sway bar full stiff (63% increase over OEM) and I was still able to hear the tire touching the liner when really loading it up in a tight 2nd gear turn last night.

This is happening to both sides so it's unlikely a liner mis-fit issue. The liner is coming into contact close to the middle of the tire's thread (ie: right on top of the inside of the fender, not the outside).

The car only has 30,000 km on it so the shocks shouldn't be the culprit. They seem to be riding fairly well in fact. Also, I am not hitting the bump stops.

This could be relatively recent since I put the Kumho MXs on last week. 245/40 up front should in theory be even shorter in diameter than OEM setup.

I'm surprised R-compound runners haven't mentioned any problems.
