Default dissapointed with eibach drop

just got the springs swapped to eibachs.

they ride great, corner great, but didn't really drop the car

i measured the distances from the body of the car to the tires all around and they are all uneaven. the difference between the two front ones is .5" and the rears are different by .5 as well.

here's a pic

what should I do? i've been driving on the fro about two days now and i figured they set it as far as they will go. any ideas? help!

so are you saying that the height on all four of your corners are different, one is higher or lower then the others?

not all four. the left side is the same in the front and back. isn't the back supposed to be lower? this is what the measurements from the edge of the fender to the highest point on the rim were:

front left: 4.25"

front right: 4.5"

rear left: 4.25"

rear right: 3.75"

shouldnt you be keeping you bump stop to protect you car from going thru bump? I might be wrong.

from my past experience, you don't removed the bump stop, but you need to to trim it.

I also believe you need to take about 1/4-1/2" off the bump stop. Not totally sure though.

Yea, just wait a bit. Then you will see a little change.

But for the price, its a nice drop.

keep your tank full and it will settle, patience my young padawan. It will settle like others said.

Just give it like 150-200 miles you will love it. I'm really happy with the eibach pro kit.

Just give it time. I didn't touch the bump stops at all.

Total drop measured that night I did it was 1" all around

One week later it was

1 1/4" F
1.5" R

So they definitely will settle....just drive on some real shoddy roads ...

I took them off due to the excessive drop and terrible camber issues ... my camber gauge gave me a rear camber measurement of -3.2 and -3.1 degrees of rear camber ... way too much for me ... and my local shop (back in Indiana) was not willing to align the car, since they said it was too low

you guys were right, they did settle in. it's a lot lower now but the rear does have a big camber issue like JimRHIT said. I don't have a guage but it's pretty obvious looking at it.

i don't know if i should keep the or return to stock? can a lot of rear camber hurt the car? will it eat the tires?

it looks soooooo nice now

Yes, it will eat your tires VERY FAST, depend on how off your cambers are, but consider these are low profile tires its going to wear out 2 times faster then regular times, so with your negative cambers, be prepare to get a new set of tires every couple thousand miles.

yeah ... it looked sooo nice ... look at my sig pic ... looks amazing

but I had traction issues (cant go fast in a straight line) and it felt squirrely at high speeds

not my cup of tea
