Default Getting Eibach sways- what settings do you use?

I was just wondering who here had the eibach sway bars installed and what settings you used front and rear. I've looked all over online and STILL can't find a % layout for how much stiffer each setting makes the car. If anyone can help that would be MUCH appreciated! Also, if you could post a short review of the car on your settings that would be great also.

Wren,

This is a very subjective thing. I use the Stillen adjustables and I set them differently for different events. On the street, with LMGT4s and street tires, I set the fronts and backs midway (33% stiffer than stock.) With R-compound 263/35 18's on the stock rims for Auto-X I set the front midway, and the back to 68% stiffer for a very neutral feel in those low speed tight turns. For track events with their higher speed, less agressive turns, I dial the front and back down to 7% above stock, their low setting.

The right setting for you is going to depend on your wheels, tires and driving habits, etc. so just experiment.

Hope this helps.

Currently have mine at "medium" front and "soft" rear. Makes for a nice "street" ride.

It will be different depending on your balance preferance and what wheel and tire sizes you have. I am running 245's on 8" wheels all the way around (245/40-18 front, 245/45-18 rear). I like my car neutral to slight oversteer, so the front is set soft and the rear is set medium. It is very neutral on the street, but a little loose on the auto-X pavement at pennington.

You don't need to know the percentages to set them. Always tune sway bars by feel and never by numbers. The Eibachs have 2 positions in front and 3 in the rear, so I don't understand how the front could be set "medium." I would suggest starting with the front on soft and the rear on medium. If the car is very loose, go harder on the front bar or soften the rear bar. If it is pushing, go harder on the rear bar.

What suspension do you have? I used to set mine on Stiff for the front, and Medium for the rear with Eibach springs / stock shocks. Now I set them both at stiff with TEIN Basic setup. I still found my car a little understeer on the track last time I went there.

I am running oem springs and oem shocks. I'm thinking I will start with the front on stiff and the rear on medium and just work from there.
