Default Eibach spring install...

Hey all,
I just ordered a set of Eibach pro-kit springs. They say these give you a .8" drop in the front and 1.2" in the rear. I imagine that I probably need to get an alignment done after these are installed. Is that correct?

Also, I've seen some stuff about camber control arms or rods or something. Are these necessary with the springs that I'm putting on so that the car can be aligned to specs?

Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Alignment and Eibachs was just discussed in a recent thread. If I recall some guys were not able to get back to specs without buying rear camber correction and some guys were. In the front if they had a amount that wasn't in spec it wasn't enough to justify the expence to correct it. You might want to look back a page or two and find the thread.

I had eibach on my car. like two weeks ago.

My alignment guy was able to get the car pretty close to spec in the rear. Probalby off by 0.2".

The front well that's another story. Just plan to swap the tires side to side every so often.

Off by .2" ? That's a pretty big "off" isn't it?

Can you tell me exactly what you had problems with in the front? I'm reluctant to go forward with this if I'm going to shred tires every 10K miles, know what I mean?

Camber is usually measured in degrees so I'm not sure what .2" would compare to.

It's always too much negative camber and it's not adjustable without new A-arms.
