Front And Rear Alignment ?????
Does the 350Z have a independent rear suspension???? If so does it have to be aligned like the front on a periodic basis?????
I have become aware of the tire feather problem only after taking delivery of my 2004 Z two months ago.
Thanks for any info.

Yes, the rear wheels need to be aligned as well as the front. After 10,700 miles my Potenza's were shot and I couldn't stand the tire growl any longer, so I replaced them with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S and the growl went away immediately. The fronts need to be set for maximum toe out.
On the rears, the camber was off considerably from factory spec of -2.08 degrees to -1.08 degrees. Before realignment the rears were at -2.28 degrees (LR) and -2.33 degrees (RR). The camber was set mid-range to -1.40 degrees. Toe was out of range on the right rear at -0.12 degrees.

You're welcome. The preventative measure here is to have your alignment checked ASAP. The independent tire store suggests re-checking alignment every six months.
