Default I am installing my Tanabe springs. Can someone provide some detailed instructions?

Hey guys, I am going to install my Tanabe Sustec GF 210 spring as soon as I get my spring compressors I just ordered. I have air tools and every hand tool you can imagine. I have done all the mods on my Z myself, I just have never done springs and could use some help. Thanks in advance, Eric.

my brother & i did mine in approximately 4 hrs. the rears were easy, we did those 1st. the front are the most time consuming. ive done spring/shock/strut installs on 4 other vehicles i have owned as well as 2 of my brothers cars so i had "some" previous suspension experience......(basically helps in what to expect & how to prevent injury) i honestly think anyone with some mechanical experience can do it in the same amount of time. patience is the key! best of luck!

miaplaya, thats impressive, especially with the removal of the front strut assemblies. that was the most time consuming for me.......we did take a few break as well but i dont think i could have done it that fast, heck i couldnt do it that fast if i did it again & know what to expect! thats fast!

I've done a few too many sprng installs. Plus a good selection of tools and a few friends work wonders. The rears were done in about 15 minutes. We had done my frineds Altima the day before and it has the EXACT same suspension set up in the back so we already new how to get it done quick. The front was easy using the tips I got from some of the board members here.

I just installed my springs last week too.. a bit over an hour. The rears were easy but I got stuck when the control arm bolt was being stubborn... Over all next time I do a Z spring install it'll be under and hour.

I love the Tanabe springs, the ride and lowered nice!

well i tried to install my springs yesterday. unfortunately i couldnt get it done with just hand tools because some of the bolts were just too tight, so i'll have to get someone to install them for me . im very disappointed because i was hoping to get some more experience working on my car.

pneumatic tools are a must in most cases. Invest in a quality copressor and tools and you will be glad you did.
