Essentially the TSB says to loosen the front upper link bolts 1 full turn and then re-torque them to 37-44 ft-lb.

Hope that helps...
hey that's awesome info man... the second I first heard the clunking, when I got out of the car, I kept looking at that exact bolt thinking maybe it was the culprit. Tomorrow I'll retorque as recommended and see what happens. Do you know if it matters if the car is on the ground or not? The way it's designed, I dont think it matters but either way I'll try it. If this fixes my clunk I will let you guys know for sure.

Thanks man, thats a great help.....

To be clear on this, You want to re-torque the two bolts shown in the drawing below, not the one that points down and has a cotter pin in it:

ok thanks, i had looked at those two also because the aft one on the drivers side has a rubber washer thats floating around aimlessly. It just caught my attention, but didn't feel loose. Thanks, I'll jack it and try retorquing those two bolts and see what happens from it.

Sorry if I sound like an idiot, but I am confused. I just installed my front Hotchkis sway and it went in exactly the same way the other came out... the only differences to the stock set up are as follows:
1 - had to bend the alignment tabs
2 - Used different bushings (although they looked the same as stock and had the same 'key' bump on the top to fit in the stock metal bracket.

Why would the hotchkis bar act any different than the stock one (with regards to sliding or clunking)???

BTW - mine does not clunk.
