Cheapest way to get red brakes?
I'd like to get red brakes, because I love the looks, but am not in the mood (yet) to spend $4,000 on a brake kit. So, short of painting/powder coating my stock brakes, are there any bolt-on options for stock brakes in red? I am not interested in "improved" braking performance, as I am satisfied with the stock brakes. I am just liking the red look. Any thoughts?

To those who did it in one shot, did you use a lift or put it up on jack stands?
I've got two jack stands that I could put one end up on and use a jack to lift either the differential or front for the other end. That assumes that I can figure out a safe lift point under the engine.

Bill,
Did you use the G2 or something else?
If G2, did you mix half and do one side then mix the other half for the other size? From what I've read on the G2 site, you only have about 4 hours working time if the temp is less than 70º. I figured half-and-half would get me a lot more time without worrying that it would harden before starting the second set of wheels.

I did not use G2.
I bought Caliper paint at Checkers Auto Parts. I do not remember the name. Cost $15.00. Similar kit like G2
I did two brakes at a time. Did the fist in approx. 1/2 hr., did the second. Went back to the first for second coat. The paint I used stated I could use second coat in 20 minutes.
You can put your wheel on while the second coat is still drying. Your wheel will not (should not) come in contact with the caliper.
I suggest you leave to dry a couple of hours before driving.

I can't agree more about not keeping calipers clean.
All you need is a spray bottle with a degreaser, spray and walk away.
Total time once a week, 20 seconds!!!
