Default Looking for info on Silk Road coilovers...

I'm pretty sure that most of the people on here haven't heard of them, but if anybody had any experience with Silk Road on other cars (mailnly on silvias)?

I did a babelfish translation of thier site, but it doesn't help too much. I can't quite understand if thier new line is dampening adjustable, but i know that you can select from custom spring rates. They're also pretty reasonably priced at about $1700.

They just released a kit for the Z33 and I'm in the market to upgrade my coilovers, my HKS have over 30k miles on them now.

Make sure they actually set the dampner valving to specifically match the spring rates you go with. If not, walk away from them. They may say you can pick your rates, but if the valving is not specific, you'll end up with a mismatch you won't care to live with. Just having adjustable dampners does not mean you can pick your rates, they'll only factually work properly with a narrow range of spring rates. As a example, a Z33 Tein flex dampner can be run with spring rates that are plus or minus 112lbs.

Can't say I've ever heard of the brand, not that that means anything.
