Did you get the Z specific version or G specific. You may want to call Tokico and see if they factually differ in terms of the valving. If they are different the G version will start off with much lower dampning level's then the Z version and peak lower as well. In conversation's with Tokico on the Z version, they said at the lowest setting the shocks will be softer then oem Z shocks, and at peak they would be a lot stiffer.

I'd love to see pics of how exactly they are adjusted.

I would set them on 8, half way on 16.

They can be adjusted without pulling them off the car correct?

Yes, these are the new D Spec shocks. They are gunmetal color. I know the fronts can be adjusted externally but I won't know about the rears until I put them on the car.

Hey guys, I just bought a set too but haven't had time to install them on the car yet. Let me know how your install goes and I'll relay my experience too.

GoSooners, what springs do you plan to use - stock or otherwise? I got a good deal on some new Eibachs on eBay ($120) so that's my plan.

Yes, I got mine from jdmwerks13 and they were very prompt about shipping. I just checked and it looks like they currently have no auction for it now, but you might wanna check back in a few days.

Gee, GoSooners, it seems that we shop in the same circles. I got mine on eBay for $499 from the same vendor. And I agree, very fast shipping. Much better price than the $625+ I have seen other places.

As soon as I get back from the Silver State Classic Challenge in NV (Sept. 19th), I plan to do the install. I didn't want to risk making some change that would throw the handling off at 150mph without having some time to do some tweaking and testing first.

knight_white99,
Let me know what settings you put it on. I haven't installed mine yet because my car is in the body shop...got rear-ended :-(.

Bummer, GoSooners. Hope your baby gets back to you fixed fast and right.

I hope to have some time to test and adjust them properly at an auto-x school in October in Tucson. I'll let you know.
