Default Adjusting Tein Coilover height?

Ok, finally got the Tein CS coilovers on this weekend, and I had a question about height adjustment...

I was told that the front height adjustment was 1:1, meaning if I move the spring seat up or down 1" it would raise or lower the car 1" (as an example)...

Also, that the rear height adjustment was 1:2, meaning if I move the spring seat up or down .5", it would raise or lower the car 1" (example)

Is this correct? If not, is there a method to the madness ... so I don't have to keep lifting the car on the jack and experamenting?

i'm not sure how it works with tiens. when i first did my hks, i had to do a little trial and error. i set the hieght at about 1/4 of the way from the lowest it could go (F&R) and adjusted from there; it only took about 3 tries. i just recently redid the hieght and turned them both all the way to the bottom

All I'm able to add is that my shop had a no fun trail & error session adjusting ride height with the Tein Flex suspension they installed on my Z...about 5 hours worth best I can recall.

When I had mine installed, had the height adjusted to Tein's recommendations. Had to raise the front so that I did not scrape my driveway. After a few weeks, the drivers side settled more then the passenger side (most of the time I am the only one in the car). I still have to adjust them to make both sides even. Basicly it is trial and error to get the height right.

i have friends that have boards for ramps on thier driveways, so they can get in and out without breaking body kits.

it's a little inconvenient, sure, but well worth it ... it looks hawt
