Default sway DIY

My Nismo sways and Tein coilovers are on the way, I'm pretty sure I can handle the coilovers (have installed a few), but I've never worked on sway bars...anyone have a link to a good DIY? I also heard that the full weight of the car needs to be on the wheels while adjusting them, meaning a pit or drive-on lift is required...I only have access to a regular lift...so is that accurate?
