New Wilwood Brake Kit From RMS Motorsports
I have just installed the 6 pot front and 4 pot rear kit on my car. Very nice fit. Have to cut dust shields and grind the top of the rear bracket to clear rear calipers but very straight forward install.
first review is very good bite.

Thunderhill September 24
I am looking forward to the track day comming up the 24th of this month. I was really held back at my last day with the standard breaks getting hot and having to break early to save them.
I will post a review after.
Can't wait.

Brakes By 350ZBrakes.com
Just wanted to clarify my supplier. Russell at 350Z Brakes was great to work with and continues to be responsive to every question I have had on the install and operation and adjustment. This service is always improtant to the final setup.
I can not reccomend him enough. He has a great price and do these brakes bit.

If I didn't have my Brembos, then I would definitely buy his brake kit.

Damn, that is a pretty decent price. Any idea on the rotor quality?

the rotors are the same size so you can buy the same rotor for front and back just change out the rotor hat for new rotors. They are cast and final machined to the 13.75 inch diameter. This size should fit 17 inch wheels.

Hey C Ray Z, you still AutoXing (I haven't been all season)?
Nice brakes, and just wanted to know who was holding the track day @ THill.
Went to one with Tracquest on Aug 29, and am ready to go again.
I'll check the racing section to see if you've already posted about it.
Later,
D'oh!

Just to be clear though, dont get confused between Wilwood kits. Evolutions Wilwood kits are the official Wilwood kit and ONLY kit that gets Wilwood's stamp of approval.

Here's one of our kit which have been out for a long time and we have many happy customers who use them daily on the street and at the track.

Hey Jeff,
Just to clarify some more, you are absolutely right, my kit is NOT a Wilwood kit. And I try to make sure people understand that. My kit just happens to use Wilwood calipers (because they are a great price, great quality and work really freakn good).
The main selling point of my kit is that it is the largest brake kit available that will fit under stock 17" rims. 13.6" x 1.25" front & rear. Why is this a selling point, because many people like to keep their 17" rims for track rubber, especially considering the cost differences between 18" and 17" race rubber.
Anyway, thanks for clarifying. BTW, you've got a really nice kit.
Best of luck.
Russell

I am running with Checkered Flag Racing. I have run five track days in the spring and found the standard brakes woefully lacking. I held off until now that I got my new brake kit. It is great.
Only thing it puts me in SM2 for next year, oh well the car is set up for fun track days.
Keep in touch.
