Replacing S-tune front with linear springs?
I understand that the Nismo S-Tune suspension has progressive rate springs in the front. To get better turn-in and possibly better steering response, could I replace the front springs with linear springs of the same spring rate?
Can anyone shed some light on the overall changes that would make on the car, also, are their any negative aspects to changing the front progressives to linear springs?

The problem will be how you source a 448lbs linear spring that is as fat as oem. The S-tune's use the same outside diameter of spring as oem, 4 1/2". Then, how long will it need to be to match the ride height, though you can attempt to play a bit with custom shims. I would call Eibach, they have a service to come up with whatever your needs are. Too bad were not talking coilovers, their's a ton of the 2.5/2.25 inch springs they use to be had.
You could also sell the S-tune's and get into a coilover system that doesn't need such modification, for a price of course. I would bet that even Basics would do what your after.
