It looks fantastic lowered and it handles like a dream. I'm probably going to switch to the Teins so I won't destroy my tires.

murrman100,
That's the exact reason I started this thread. Great discussions like the one you provided. It's exactly why I'm going with a set of springs that don't drop my car more than an 1" front/back EVER and for the life of the car. One reason I'm still very interested in the RS*R, Hothchkis, and S. Tech.

nexstage350,
I talked to a guy at a meet that had the S. Tech installed, waited a little while for them to settle, then had his alignment brought back into spec using the OEM parts. IMO, his ride looked great!
From what I've read anything between .5 and .75 inches in drop can be realigned with OEM parts. And it doesn't give you that slammed look, but more of a 911 and M3 look.

damn, that sucks...
Well I'm putting my new rims on my baby in the morning I may or may not have to drop. At this point, imo, the stock front wheel has an even gap between the fender and the wheel all the way around. The rear fender to wheel gap is a little uneven at the top and makes the wheel look smaller than the front, an illusion Maybe it's just my eyes, ha,ha,ha. Anyway, my new rear wheels are huge by dimension (295/35/19) and may just even things up visually on their own. I guess I'll know by tomorrow afternoon
I'll be sure to post pics in my "fattest tires on a 19" rim thread".

I decided to go with the RS*R. I'm getting ready to order them soon. I'm going to put them on in the spring when I swap my wheels. I'm probably going to have to shave my rear inner fender for clearance, but that's OK. I'm going with the 0.6" drop because others have and used their OEM suspension parts to bring it back into spec. I don't want to have to spend another $900 in extra re-aligning parts for half an inch. Not worth it, imo.
RS*R $205 shipped
F_0.6" drop spring rate 345lbs.
R_0.6" drop spring rate 417lbs.
