Question Powdercoating Stoptech's

Hey guys. I have Stoptech 14" Black BBK and I want to powdercoat them to Red. Black caliper on the black car is a little bit too plain and it doesn't stand out IMO. I'm going to powdercoat all 4 calipers. How much is it going to cost? Any ballpart figures? And since brake is the part that takes quite a bit of heat, the coating should be durable to heat right? Is there a specific kind of powdercoating for brakes?

this one I can help you on

Indy Powdercoating does it for $35 - $55 a caliper, depending on the color, etc. They will hold up to any heat you are likely to throw at them, short of tracking the car.

Let me know if you need someone to take the calipers off the car. My old roomate (my old mechanic) lives down in B-town with ya ... he can help ya out.

color availible
Gloss Black, Satin Black, Wrinkle Black, Blue, Red, Gloss White, Yellow, Silver*

You will have to ask Stoptech about the logo stencil.

I just did my brembo's myself. $100 for the powdercoating kit and $175 for a used oven.
