Default Sways Q

i was wonderin if a set of sway bars would b a good mod, considerin they would b my first suspension modification. i was thinkin about a set of hotchkis, plus collars. also, what r the possible ramnification of buyin my friend's used bars? the only thing i can think of would b worn bushings. thanks.

All the aftermarket bars I've seen use the stock bushings, so that shouldn't be an issue. Other than that, aside from being dirty, scratched or unless the guy has nailed a parking curb with it, it's almost impossible to damage or ruin a sway bar, it'll work fine.

it's a very good mod.

I have Stillen's sways and the car is much stiffer.

I recommend them big time !

Get the Hotchkis, great price and they are 3 way adjustable.

so it shouldn't matter if i don't have anything else: springs, shocks?

No, you dont have to upgrade yours shocks and/or springs.

Yo Guys!
They are not sway bars, that was back in the late 70's.
They are now better known as ANTI ROLL BARS. Which is what they do; counter body roll not body sway

Nissan service manual calls them stabilizer bars. So... to each his own?
