Got my Megan Racing Coilovers
I know the tein's are worth the money, but I just couldn't spend 1500 bucks those at the moment, so I opted to go this route.
I have them set at 16 clicks out from full soft in the front and 12 out from full stiff in the rear... and the car rides really nice, I love it. The bounce is gone, and my hotchkis sways really help on the corners ( I still have to play with the settings on those though... they are set mid stiff both front and rear).
But, besides that... the car is slammed at the moment It looks good but its a PITA to go over anything... i'll raise it back up when i put my wheels and my kit on in the spring.
So, i recomment the coilovers to anyone looking for bang-for-the-buck... definitely more worth the money than the tein basics for the same price range.
I took a few pics with my camera phone... will put new ones up later... I wanna see if anyone has gone lower than this on their Z.
Oh, and dont flame the camber I'm working on getting that back into spec

I believe the company is fairly new in making suspension... but they've made stuff like headers and test pipes for a while. Megan became to be known as a cheap company and lost a lot of business.
The rumor, however, was that their coilovers were made in the same facilities as the Apex coilovers, which are renowned for their quality. And after looking at the coilovers in person and seeing a picture of the Apex's, I wouldn't be surprised if the rumor were true. The top pillow ball looks identical, the shock adjusters are identical, the shock bodies are identical... just no expensive "Apex" name on them. They also came with a 2 year warranty (Their website says one, but i called and they said 2), and for the money I spent on em, I dont even care if they go bad in a year or so, when i can afford to get something different.
I got more pics but its saying unable to attach right now... will put them up later

i remember reading somewhere that megan has a different setup in the rears no?
they put the rear shock and spring as a single assembly, and not seperately using the factory shock mount and spring mount? or am i referring to another brand?? not sure

ehh... another dumb question coming up...
Can you please elaborate on what coilovers do? do they lower your car, but you can adjust the height? or theres more to it?

most coilovers will give you adjustability of ride height (to change the visual look and center of gravity of vehicle) as well as adjustments to the shock (which will change suspension charateristics)...it allows you to tune your ride to what you want (for the street, autoX, track...)
