BBS Wheels showoff (Pics) helo needed on suspension
Hey bro's i finally think my Z has a good set of shoes, and this thread is the time to show them off, its BBS-RS GT diamond black 19" with machine lip!!!!!!, I went with BBS because i have a tirerack wholesale account, pm me if u need a voucher pm me I am in a dilemma these wheels have a bigger gap in the back then my stock 17'S by a little wth??? my front looks like fine here is my problem i need advice on suspension, becuase the back i feel needs to be lower is it because i got 275's in the back and 225 in front, BTW Reccomended sizes tires from tirerack i picked michieln PS2's
What i want from yall
My Options simply post your comment on my wheel and pick a number which one you think i should go with this is personal so i wish i can drop money for coilovers but i cant right now.
GOAL to have a smooth ride (not like a stiff EVO)but better handling and flush the gap i have in the back (see pics)
#1 leave it stock and save some $
#2 Coilvers, I can only get these brands Hotchkis, H&R, for wholesale, i can adjust them front and back and H & R thats what people reccomend i need a 2nd opinion you guys are wiser, i only know about performance mods, but i like to get a suspension compnent. BUT remember i rather not go coilover if springs will do what i want.
#3 Cheap way go H&R sport spring for $200 new 1.5 drop it back and front, but will i regret getting springs, because if i get coils i loose the springs
What i feel? the wheels look damn good, but better witha drop, but i dont wanna go so low that im glued, i want a stock feel from inside, good look from outside, coilvers are probably out of my budget right now, these rims are my 2nd to last mod unless that bug comes around
BTW YALL I went to the dyno velocity and i got 240whp with Intake and exhaust haha

also, go with coilovers...hks +...i love mine, drop down about 1/2-3/4'', 30 way adjustable dampers, very accessible...so easy to change settings, and best of all...no noise!

Those BBS's look great!
As far as springs go, Tein or Hotchkis are cheap (both about $150) and drop a similar amount, the Teins drop slightly more in the front and the Hotchkis a little more in the rear. They are designed to work with stock shocks, and you should be able to get your alignment back within factory spec according to users on the forums.
But hey if you have the money for coilovers, I'm sure those would be better

Go w/ tanabe gf210's. they are 169.00 shipped @ hopupracing. Perfect drop.
1.0 front and 1.2 rear. ride seems unchanged, maybe a little more soft. I got 245/35/19 up front and 275/35/19 in the rear. No fender rolling and no gap whatsoever. Check me out http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2258588
