Default OEM Brembo Calipers, used 5K mi, $1000 shipped (repost)

***UPDATE: calipers are sold. thanks for looking***

NOTE: this is a repost because my original ad was deleted for not having a picture of the item with my username. Sorry to the mods for my carelessness.

I have added a picture with my name and also listed the user who first called dibs (sry110).

sry110, you still have dibs for being the first to respond to the original post; sorry if this creates any confusion.

jmahad01, you are next in line if the pending sale does not go through.

Below is my original post:

I am selling a set of Brembo calipers with original pads that were used for about 5,000 miles.

They came off of a 2007 350Z and have never been tracked.

They have a few cosmetic nicks on them, but are still in good shape.

Includes only what is shown in the pictures.

Price: $1,000 shipped (firm)
Shipping: FedEx Ground with tracking number and insurance

Don't quote me on this but I asked my local Nissan dealer about a year ago what that cost would be to upgrade, and I remember the guy kind of rolling his eyes like "you don't wanna know" and he threw out some number in the $3k-$4k range. Now that would include lines, calipers, pads and rotors (not sure if it included installation), but at that kind of pricing you're getting into the lower end of an aftermarket BBK.

As I was about to pull the trigger on these Brembo's last night, I also came across this which was intruiguing:

http://www.czp.us/cart/description.p...146.145.26.122

Might be a good cost-effective alternative to OEM Brembo setup. Honestly by the time I get done buying rotors and getting them installed, I'll be closer to the $2000 mark anyway.

thanks for the info friend, I was going more for looks than performance. The price isnt bad considering everything is new and doesnt cost as much as other bbk.

I agree. I am going for 70% looks and 30% higher performance, but with 100% OEM quality which is why I was dead-set on the OEM Brembo setup. But I think the Akebono brakes are what is used on the 370z's instead of Brembo....can anyone confirm that?

Weezzel,
I sold them because I no longer have a car I can use them on.
I priced them so low because I got them for a killer deal through connections at work and wanted to pass the savings on to another enthusiast.
