My sister is currently looking into buying or leasing a Z. She currently has an 03 Saab 9-3 with 19k on it. She was looking at a touring model and she was given a quote of 18500 for the saab. 10000 of it would go back to paying off the rest of the Saab, while the 8500 would go towards the leasing of the Z. In addition to the 8500, the rate would be 435 per month for 36 months. Is it just me or does that seem to high? The 8500 + 15660 for the leasing of the Z for 3 years seems like a very high amount. She was looking at a 5at touring. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

What's the residual value? Sounds decent though, $24000. from aprrox. 40000= 16000.........You ARE able to write the lease payment off, right? GL2U, Dave
