Thats not really accurate. It depends mostly on the sales tax, because that will be the biggest differential.

For example, lets say the tags and license fees amount to an even $200. When I buy the car in New York, my sales tax is 8.25 percent and tax comes out to like $2700. If I bought the car in New Jersey, sales tax would be 6% and total around $1950. Thats a $850 difference!

So OTD price really depends on where you live.

Yea I should have told him that. I was just trying to give him an idea of what the increase would be out the door. I figured the tax at 7% which is thet national average last I knew.

Hey guys I got this offer for the 350Z I'm looking for from one dealer,

I just got a deal on my 2005 ppw enthusiast with kick plates and mats. paying $29700 OTD. This is in SF, CA. After haggling with a few dealers, one guy quoted me 30,500 OTD, and some would not phone quote me so i ditched them. I found a pretty honest salesman and simply told him to give me a sub 30k price.
Gonna go pick it up today
