Prices and Availablity ?
Attn Florida Residents:
Just wondered what everyone is finding for availability and prices. I was considering getting a new Z but my regular salesman told me I would have to order and he also said I would have to pay full price. He said full price was a good deal because other dealers in central Florida are asking a premium over MSRP. I'm kind of just starting to look and I don't want to overpay so if you guys could tell me what you think I would appreciate it.
Oh the salesman called me back to say they did get one in yesterday that no one had paid for yet; a "Touring, 6 Speed". Any thoughts on the "Touring" package? How does the Chrome Silver look in person? Is there any way I can check online to see if Sutherlin Nissan in Merrit Island, Fl really has the car before I drive over their?
Thanks again guys.

Go to NissanUsa.com and do a search for dealerships in your area. I would imagine that if you wait you can get it under MSRP. The enthusiast model has an invoice of 25,800 so you'll probably save a few in the long run. =) Touring seem to be the popular model on the lots.. most of the Z's in the socal area are Touring.

I payed 33,000 out the door for an enthusiasts model. the dealer charged over, after ever-thing eles, he added costs, saying something about dealer cost bull S***. some people payed 3000 -4000 extra ( in south florida ) so my guess is that dealer is going to put in some additional cost being somewhere around $1000 dollors. Mostly any dealer is going to rip you off only cause its a hot car at the time !

Thanks guys. I did check and it does show up in their inventory. I spoke to the salesman again and he said MSRP. I guess that would be a good deal right now if some dealers are getting $3000-$4000 over. I'll try to get down to the dealer Friday or Saturday.
Thanks again for your input.
