I'm in Orlando and he was able to find one in GA that he dealer traded for. If you are really looking for a specific car go find a dealer who will sell at MSRP, then ask if they can locate the car for you. Just know that there might be a transportation fee depending on how far away it is.

I went to make a deal today 12/31, and a dealer in Bay Area gave me 500 under msrp for the track model. I was ready and we had everything but the contract signed (I was only three signatures away...), when they told me that they don't accept peoplefirst blank checks. Then, I found out that they ran a credit check on me without my permission. That pissed me off severely, especially because I told them that I was going to pay for the car with cash. I got up and told them to rip the contract.

Although I couldn't make the deal today, now I know that dealerships are willing to sell the car for msrp and under, even in the Bay Area. If you are serious about buying immediately, you can negotiate the price down.

Sadly and Luckily, I have time on my side. I still have till June before I can purchase a car. Even then that rests on if I have to move to get my appropriate job. I like the desert too much, but Irvine just has a better job market.... *sigh*

I finally got the car! I was able to get it for 500 off MSRP! I know people in Michigan and Chicago are probably laughing at me, but I think it's a decent deal for the bay area!
