Default Is this a good deal for 2005 Base 350 Z

Buddy of mine's brother is in jam now and needs to unload the car for the amount he owes on it. It is a 2005 Base model / White with less than 9000 miles on it. He needs to sell it quick and is asking $21,000.

To me this sounds like a really good deal, but I don't know too much about the base model. I read it has the same powerplant as all the other models. I also know that it does not come w/ the traction control, limited slip, or headlights. I do plan on modding the car maybe a year after owning it... my questions are:

1. is this a good deal?
2. is the base model still worthy of monster modding.. (i know that I can purchase an aftermarket limited slip, brakes, HID lights etc)
3. Many told me it is better to not have tractrion control (VDC) or the other one (can't remember the name, that come w/ the track models etc.) because it is funner to drive that way.

What do you guys think or feel about this. I am new to the Z world and can't wait to catch the Z FEVER!

Thanks guys and sorry about the long post.

I can’t tell you which model is best for you, but I can tell you the most popular models with 350Z owners.

I remember something about a horse being beat to death, did it have anything to do with graphs?

LOL. The question “What model should I get?” has been beat to death.” My graph simply shows which model 350Z owners are buying.
