Default Where the heck are the Silverstone Roadsters?!?

Jeez man. I've been searching for WEEKS for an '04 or '05 Silverstone Roadster w/ burnt orange leather and auto transmission...Touring model, with navigation.

According to AutoTrader.com AND all of my local dealerships, there are NO such animals for sale anywhere in America right now. It's uncanny. I've found a few cars which are close, but they are either the Enthusiast, or manual tranny, or black interior, or no navigation, etc.

Depressing.

Now's the time to order your '06. Isn't it worth paying an additional couple bucks to get *exactly* what you want?

I suppose. I'm driving an '04 Super Black Touring Roadster now, and I love it...except that the black paint sucks. I can't keep it clean for more than 45 seconds in a row, and there are swirls galore.

I just hate paying the new-car premium. I'll consider it, though.

I am looking for the same thing but I want a 6 speed. They are hard to find. I always find one with everything but navigation

There's a gorgeous 6-speed at Campbell-Nelson Nissan in Seattle...but as you said, w/o Navigation. Can that be added as an aftermarket dealio? Either Nissan OEM equipment or some third-party improvement?

I considered buying it, but I'm really craving the auto transmission!

Update: I found a perfect match down at Nissan of Fife...only a half-hour away from my house. I gave them my car + $3000.

All it took was a little more patience.

I pick it up on Friday, I can't wait!

Well, I love the color!

Aside from that, I'm REALLY trying to be impartial...but even though it's supposedly identical, this car just seems better overall. Tighter...quicker...faster starts and quicker stops. It handles better in every way.

I mean, even the STEREO sounds better. The top goes up and down faster. The seats are warmer.

I'm chalking it all up to the fact that this one has 14,000 miles, while the SB I traded already had 26,000. I'm surprised that there could be that much difference with only an extra 12,000 miles.

Or maybe the first car was a 2004, and this one a 2004.5? I dunno.

Bottom line: I loved the first one, and this one's even better!

Default Silverstone

Who, me?

Both of my Roadsters were/are 2004 Touring models. I loved both, but this '04 Silverstone just kicks butt all over. It's my favorite car ever.

They're being bought and posted in the New Roadster Owners forum.
