Default quick question

i tried asking this in another thread that i started up but got no answer. im planning to get my Z shortly after i get my tax returns in the mail this coming year but i may be able to speed up the process depending on what you all tell me. my question involves the depreciation of the Z. according to msnauto, back in 2003, the performance model of the Z had an msrp of 30k and an invoice of 28k. now here we are in late 05 and i have found a couple of performance model Z's with less than 40k miles on them going for 19k. would it be safe to say that by maybe march, the price of the car could go down to maybe 17 or 18k? if so, i wouldnt necessarily have to wait until i got my tax returns in the mail, i would only have to sell my car to be able to afford a Z. im not sure how depreciation works which is why i cant answer this question on my own. thanks in advance for any insight.

I don't know too much about depreciation myself, but I do most of my research before I ever step foot into a dealership. This way I have the upper-hand because a car salesman will tell u anything to get the sale. Try looking on http://www.edmunds.com, thats where I do most of my research, the site is pretty easy to navigate. As for as your depreciation question, I don't know too much about it, i would suggest posting in a different section, this is the general section, which is mostly for new car owners or for those looking to buy...there is not a lot of knowledge here. Luckily I just happened to glance here. Try posting under off-topic or in modifications even though its not related. Another thing you can try is searching google for depreciation, it may sound funny, but it never fails. Well good luck, let me know how it goes...
