Offer $22,000. Is it a good deal? Are you willing to pay $22,000 for the car?

If the seller has not contacted you in the past 7 days and accepted your offer, I don't believe that he will. Would you consider a compromise of $22,500. I mean would you let $500 keep you from driving the car that you want?

if it has been taken in for the feathering problem, I would think it would be too much money. You would be buying a lot of tires.

I would on principle alone. I was trying to put a deposit down on Civic Si, dealer wanted to charge me an extra $500 for pin striping, paint protectant, and door guards. I told him I do not want it on my car, they said "we can take it off but you still have to pay." So I nixed the deal just for the fact the dealer was trying to nickle and dime me.
