Question Who got the best deal on a Z (Base)

Hi gang.... I was planning to get a Z this summer, but the more I think about it the hardest it is. I don't think I'm going to be able to wait so long. So here is my question, how can I get the best deal on a Z. I was thinking used, but if I can a great deal on a new one, I would go for that. I was using this website for tips (that by the way is excellent!!!!carbuyingtips.com). I want a base 350z, I live in Fl. What do you think is the best price I would be able to get this car new (OTD) ????????

Find the car that you want. Visit the dealer and make your best offer. Pretty simple.

get a job with a company that makes some business with nissan. they will offer you VPP discount thats how I got my baby - you just cant beat that deal

from a nissan website: /http://www.insidenissan.com/vpp/nissan/offer.html/

For employees of NNA and Affiliate-companies and their immediate family members, the VPP price is calculated as follows:
Dealer invoice
Minus VPP discount (Nissan 4.3% : Infiniti 3.58%)
Plus dealer added options, Security Plus, etc.
Plus destination and handling charge
Minus applicable incentives
Equals participant’s purchase price

For NNA and affiliate employee sponsored friends and extended family members, the VPP price is calculated as follows:
Dealer invoice
Minus VPP discount (Nissan 2.87% : Infiniti 1.65%)
Plus dealer added options, Security Plus, etc.
Plus 2.5% delivery fee of dealer invoice after VPP discount has been subtracted
Plus destination and handling charge
Minus applicable incentives
Equals paticipant's purchase price

When a dealership sells a vehicle to you at the pre-negotiated price indicated above, it qualifies for a 5 percent delivery fee paid by Nissan North America, Inc. Please note that only dealerships in the continental United States, Hawaii and Alaska are eligible to participate in the VPP.

So, if you are a relative of a person who works for an affiliate, you can get a Z for $100 under invoice. Not a bad deal.

Then, can we all agree that when buying a new Z, this is the best you can get????

Dealer invoice
Minus VPP discount (Nissan 4.3% : Infiniti 3.58%)
Plus dealer added options, Security Plus, etc.
Plus destination and handling charge
Minus applicable incentives
Equals participant’s purchase price
