Default Hello, Peoples and a questionable question!

Hello, everyone!

1st post so please...be gentle!

I've been saving my pennies (and a few hundred dollars a pop!) puttin' 'em in the bank and making that big $9.00 a month interest getting ready to buy this damn thing! I figure by Sept or Oct I'll be set and soon will be tooling round the streets of sunny jacksonville, fl in a sexxay drop top!

My question is, and I'm just curious, what was the difference in what your dealer originally wanted and what you walked out the door $ wise? I mean did it list at $38,550 and he let it go for $32,5?

Just like to hear "I saved -xxx $ from list" stories so I have something warm and friendly to hold onto!

Thanks, future fellow z'ers

i orginally paid for an '03 base for +/- 27.5 OTD and because they screwed up my loan interest rate, they were forced to drop it another 1k to match the int % rate resulting in lower principle but w/ slightly higher int %, which is alot better, because i refinanced right away and locked in a dramatically lower rate. =)

Welcome. The next 8 months will give you plenty of time to study invoice prices, dealer holdbacks, and learn how to make a reasonable offer.

I bought my 03 Track w/ 6k miles on it and saved almost $8k off MSRP. That was back in 2004.
