Need Help
Hey all. I just got back from My local Nissan dealer. I have an 03 Touring and wanted to see what deal I could get on a left over(NEW) 05 or an 06. They offered me 21k trade for my 03 which I was surprized by and I test drove an 05 35th Anny with 25 miles on it. The Sticker on the 05 was 39k with Navi and everything. They said they would give it to me for 35k. They took 4k off the price. They were really being pushy as most car salespeople are and I told them I have to leave after like an hour of negotiating. I did some searching around. Should I tell them I'll give them 32K? They said they will keep my payments the same. Just so you know this will be financed out for 6 years, new car finance rate. I usually extra pay monthly.
I noticed that the clutch feel on the 05 was VERY light and it did not feel ANY faster than my 03 even with the Rev Up. The car is silverstone, my 03 is Super Black. I love Black, but the silverstone looks pretty sweet, Brembos, Nav, Spoiler and really nice stock wheels. Just an FYI. My 03 is on it's 3rd Tranny. Should I go for this deal?? Sorry for the ranting, but I'm all worked up.

You can get invoices at kbb.com
If sticker is around $39,100 or so, invoice is around $36,500 or so. Don't know the exact equipment. I would think they would be quite motivated to move this vehicle also. I am not sure about right now, but last I knew the 2005's had a $1,000 rebate and $1,000 factory to dealer cash. So, now it's down to $34,500 at invoice (granted, the customer rebate comes after taxes). Net net invoice (For Nissan, I am thinking it's invoice less 2% holdback and .87% floor plan assistance), should be around $35,452 and change. Take that 2K off of that, you are slightly below $33,500 at net net.
