I'll be picking up a used 350z this week and I wanted to know what things would I need to check to see if things are in order under the hood. The car is a 2003 w/48k miles on it so I'm pretty sure things will need to be changed out soon if they haven't been changed already. Also can I purchase an extended warranty after the 3 year/36k mile warranty has expired from Nissan? I know the drivetrain warranty is still valid at 5yr/60k miles.

Check for Tire Feathering, Check for Transmission Problem if it is a Manual. Check to see if all the Recall has been Fixed. (and of course, carfax it).
