Lightbulb Actual Lease prices

Hello everyone,

I've been on a lengthy hunt to lease a '06 Grand Touring Roadster and was hoping you can share your stories. After negotiating with so many dealers and reading up information on edmunds.com I've become quite tiered. Therefore, I decided to talk to other actual Z owners that might have possibly leased their Z's or purchased and what better place than here.

I first had my hart set on a Black GT Roadster, vent. burnt orange seats, 6 MT, Nav, side guards and with the aluminum kick plates. But I have found that such doesn't exist in the south eastern seaboard of the U.S., according to the dealers. I was offered to order it, which turn out it had to be an 07 model that would not arrive for at least 2.5 months. So I said to hell with the Nav and got other options. But the asking price is always around $1,000 T.O.P. low $600 + tax per month on a 48 month lease. I been told by others that a better offer is defently possible, but instead of beeting my brains out I'd rather get some feed back from you.

Option 1: Keep on with my goal to give $1000 T.O.P., around $530 per month, 36 month lease for 12 K miles per year.

Option 2: Purchase?

Option 3: Purchase a used?

Option 4: Look for another car. My coworker just got a lease on a G35 sport and premium package with $3000 down, 420 per month, 36Months/15KMiles.

Option 5: Get a Touring instead of GT; no brembo breaks, no heated seats/mirrors and no underbody diffusers and no rear spoiler? (My Next Option...)

Option 6: Cough up the money, because I am not gonna get a better price?

Please share your stories on leasing your Z or purchasing it. Feel free to elaborate on with the options.

Thanks,
C Cloud

I studied new car prices before shopping. Found the Z that I wanted. Calculated my best price. Visited the dealer and made my best offer. The salesman accepted the offer. I paid for the car, and drove away in a new 350Z. Pretty simple.

1st thing you need to do is figure out what you want to buy and what you can live without.

Use the internet to its best abilities, you can tell them what you want, they will tell you what they have and you can shop several different dealerships in your area without leaving your computer.

Sounds so simple, so what was your offer?

C Cloud.

Talking I sure did!

Yes, I got it on father's day. I've just been so busy enjoying the ride that I've forgotten to post. I'm sure this happens to most my350z.com members. I bargained like hell and the best deal I got was this:

37,240.00 final price from 42,300.00 asking price. 48 month lease, with 1000.00 down, 600.00 gap insurance (because it was not included with the leasing bank), 594.00 per month and 12k miles per year.

I got the 2006 350 Z Roadster Grand Touring, Black ext., Burnt orange seats, aluminum kickplates, Brembo Breaks , etc..., but no nav. I don't suggest the Nav option, because the car requires much attention to drive. Nav is only a distraction. For example, sometimes when I drive I forget to turn the radio on. The sound of the engine and the ride are more than enough fun and all the worth while. I was really happy that my efforts paid off and I love the car.
