Default How hard to find black '07 350z enthusiast?

Ok so here is the deal. It's the northeast and the winters coming soon. It's about time I get a new car and the 350z is what I want. I have my wrx right now and im going to keep it until around april when all the snow is gone (hopefully).

I've been searching around and I dont see anything available in black for the 06 models. I've searched on autotrader, the nissan website, etc. and it seems like the only color that has been coming up near my area is silver.

My question is... do you think when its about time I start seriously looking to buy a car that I can easily find a black enthusiast coupe (assuming that there is an enthusiast model available of 07)? I also want to be able to get the best price possible so I also want to have the choice to be able to walk out of the dealership if the deal is not good enough. I'm not going to settel for anything other than black. I also don't want to search around for months (the dealer doesnt need to know this) because I plan on selling my current car privately and I can't go too long borrowing my parents cars or not having a car at all.

get cleared for 37000 from your local credit union, then get used to that payment. Now after that settles in realize that you cant price out a 2007 350z yet because no on has them or knows what its gonna cost yet, assume about 800-1000 at the least over what they cost now for any model.

Actually after seeing your from conneticut ill bet it snows up there. Keep your WRX because you cant drive a Z in the winter unless you like exposing a brand new car to the snow and salt and gravel on the roads. Honestly the Z is a summer car and if thats not your bag o tea then its not the car for you. I dont care what anyone says you dont put snow tires on a care like this and drive around with it. Keep the WRX and if you must have a Z move or make enough money to have 2 cars, one for winter and one for spring and summer.

Hey David,

For some reason I think that I have posted this 1,000 times:

a. Find the 350Z that you want.
b. Post the MSRP.
Even though he's talking about the 07 I would think this would apply for him.

I was able to negotiate for an '07 from a CT dealer in the color I wanted. The paper work states that I agree to pay $300 over invoice. I placed the order yesterday, with delivery in late February or early March. The dealer will not be able to place the order with Nissan until early December when the ordering window opens again. A modest deposit holds supports the order.

was it really that hard to answer how hard it is to find a specific color? I understand that the 07's are not out, but i believe there was a time when 06's, 05's, etc. were just coming out too, correct? All i wanted to know is if its hard to find a black Z because every dealership all i see is silver Z'....thats it.

I wasn't asking about exact prices. I'm not asking anything about credit unions, im paying cash for my car. I'm not asking about if you think i should keep my wrx because thats not an option. I'm just asking about color. Just like the title of the thread says... Do you think its going to be difficult to find a '07 black enthusiast (assuming there is an enthusiast model)? If not enthusiast, a model with around the same options. Can someone with experience buying a black Z possibly give me a little advice from their experience?

sorry dont mean to sound like a *****... i just got a million different answers having nothing to do with my question
