I know this has been discussed before but I want your opinion on something but man im really on the fence on this! I know the Z is a bit faster than the G right? but is it much of a diffrence? Im thinking about trading my Z in for a G maybe next summer. reason for it is I saw a G today while I was at work and It looks way nicer than the Z interior and I started to look at it more and more I liked it! my question to you is would you trad in your Z for a G?
the other reason im thinking about this is because my Z has alot of milage and I dont like the color its DB and I like the black and the white Z's anf G's

Go to an Infiniti dealer and look at the '07 G35.

 

I like the G. I just would not trade my Z for one. If I needed a car with a back seat, I would probably go back to a BMW or even an IS.

 

have any of you driven a g after driving a z?

 

i used to think they looked good before i got my z. now lol, everytime i see them i just think how nasty they are and how glad i am to have gotten my z.. only plus to it, is the rear seats, but i bet you cant fit anyone back there anyways..

 

I went on a test drive before I bought my Z. I originally wanted a the G coupe. After the test drive, I just was not that impressed. The interior is nice but its still kind of bland ( I was trading in my BMW330ci). So decided to take a z for a ride, and fell in love with it and bought it two days later.


I don't think the G is ugly and there are some body kits that really make it look like an amazing car. So if you like it, I say go for it!

2005 35 Ann. Z 6MT
I would have to say the Z is much more raw. The G35 is nice for a buisness man type a bit boring to drive.. has luxerious features etc. The Z is more of a tuners/enthusiest car I believe. Just my .02

 

sweet i guess ill keep the Z on last question! Should I trade my Z in for another one or just pay this one off? i have a 2003 db touring 6 speed Z with 73k, i was thinking down the line maybe a vortech supercharger but i may need either a new engine or a complet rebult right? Im going to pay the car off by this summer, and its DB blue if I keep it it well need a paint job and all. should I just trade it in for something new or just pay it off?

 

Pay it off due, then mod the hell out of it. Start with a f/i kit, then when it blows, upgrade for more power.

I see a lot of girls driving G's. Get a Z. No wait dont get one, there are too many on the roads already. JK get what you want.

 

Just went through this myself. To me it really came down to what I wanted to be driving...the legendary Z or just another sports car.
