ya, i agree with xedes.
G is the same car but just with an extra backseat.
If you want to trade in your car, go get the 335i coupe!

To me, the G styling was very short-lived. I see why Nissan/ Infiniti has it in for a drastic change.

What does that have to do with anything? I can afford both. So your saying if a person drives a Z they can't afford a G?

Why would you pay more money for the essentially the same car? I have driven both and imo the Z is much better in so many ways.

The G is cool until you try to toss an after market double din radio in one....$$$
400 for the conversion kit.. ouch
I like them though, they are nice but I'm not classy enough to drive one

Comparably equipped, there is almost no difference between the Z and the G coupe, pricewise.

I think the G is actually a bargain.

I mean look at it, it's a 300 hp luxury coupe with a backseat and everything. Compared to 3-series BMW, it is pretty affordable.

It was actually tougher for me to go with the Z due to the circumstances of a having a 2-seater sportscar. You have to allocate funds to have another daily-driver or have some sort of alternative means of transporting yourself, friends, family and things.

So whoever thinks "G cost more to afford than a Z". Wake the *** up.

Ok, I'm awake to the fact that I would still need another daily driver because apart from the fact you cannot fit an adult comfortably in the back of the G, where will I put the luggage when family come into town. If you can afford a Z then a second car/truck shouldn't be a problem.

The G is no more luxurious than the Z and anyways if I wanted Luxury I would have bought something else. The BMW may not be reliable but ,I'm sorry, the interior dash of German stuff is worlds apart. Plus people pay extra for the badge to make a statement. Unfortunately, reliable or not, public perception of "Luxury" cars are BMW, Mercedes & Lexus.

G not a luxury car? I disagree. Compared to a Z, it definitely is. Just ask any girl. German cars more luxurious then the G, I totally agree.

if anything its a entry level car when it comes to lux. my roommate has a G and so do a couple of close friends. interior is very bland compared to my previous car audi a6. when it comes to z vs g it comes down to styling preference and the backseat factor. price has little to do with it because like someone else mentioned similarly equipped there is little to no difference. hell if you compare the most expensive G (fully loaded G35 coupe) to the Z (fully loaded 350zr) the Z costs 1000's more

Each has pros and cons. Decide what it is that matters most to you.

G = more practical and comfortable

Z = cheaper, faster, overall better value
