There are a lot of other threads on this topic, but anyway back in March 2006 I traded in my previous car and they gave me $13500 for it, then I put another $1000 or so down on top of it, and the total price after tax/tags/blah blah was around $29k. So I financed about $15.5k and they gave me 5.54%.

Nothing down, 4.5% APR Fixed...I also traded in my 03 Base which I bought new for 24,500 for my Brand new 2004.5 Daytona Blue Enthusiest model with 2 miles on it or something like that.
I traded it with no rolling over anything from the base Z and 28K out the door for the Enthusiest during the Nissan Sales event thing....LOL

I'm going in to look at a leftover '06 and my credit union approved me for 5% APR, which he said was their lowest rate available.
I gave him my credit score and initially he thought 6.5-7.5% but he said it's better than I think it is and said they're allowing me as high as $32,400 as well.
I plan to spend time haggling.
Do you think Nissan can do better on the APR or is this out of their hands?
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

You can try bro, make sure you dont tell them anything until you have the price set first on the Z.
When u go in the finance room let them check first what kind of rate they can do for you. If they give u a better rate than 5% than take it and if they dont then let them know if they can beat 5% that you recieved.
Or just dont tell them anything. Go finance room check whats available, tell them you want less than 5% if they dont haggle go grab the CHECK from ur credit union and pay it off at the dealership lol

$0 down ( negative $1000 really ) . . . . 5.25% . . . . . 72 months . . . . . payments less than $400/month. . . . .
and that was burying ( adding on to the price ) $1000 from my trade in.

Thread would be better with dates, but at any rate (get it APR, rate?...nm ) I got 5.75% for 60months on March 25th, 2007 .
Just go in there negociate the price of the car then goto the finance room, they'll try to give you some bs high rate then you say your credit union is giving you X amount they'll either match it or take your credit uniion check. What ended up happening with me is they matched it. You can even go so far as to say you want them to beat it by atleast a quater of a percent (not probable but depends on how bad the finance guy wants to use his bank) .
In either case good luck.
